Comfort, quality, and wearability are paramount. Especially when wearing clothing for many hours a day. However, creating menique clothing alone is not enough. We seek to do the right thing and want to feel good about everything we create. In an effort to be as eco-conscious as possible, we grew to appreciate living sustainably, in harmony with our surroundings.
Therefore, it only made sense to use materials that fit this approach. We knew the importance of the material and worked hard to select the right textile. After long research about the needs of loungewear clothes and the fabrics for that purpose, we have found two fibers on the planet that suited our taste – Merino wool and Linen. As soft on the Earth as they are on your skin.
A team of experienced professionals cut, sew, wash, dye and iron menique pieces. No machine can be smart enough to replace human beings.
Organically grown Merino wool comes from nature meaning that it is a 100% recyclable and renewable resource. It is flexible, bends softly against the skin, and does not itch at all. Merino is a more refined and versatile type of wool with an extensive array of unbeatable qualities that no other material can compete with.
SOFT TO TOUCH
At 17 microns thick, our 100% Merino wool is super fine, meaning it comes into contact with the skin without creating an itchy sensation.
COZY ACCROS TEMPS
When it is cold, the natural bends in Merino wool trap air, insulating you. When it is warm, Merino moves sweat away, keeping you fresh and cool.
Merino wool is unique in that it absorbs odor caused by bacteria – trapping their smell and keeping them from building up.
All of our Merino wool garments are sewn with smooth flatlock seams to give you a better fit throughout without chafing your delicate skin.
In 2020, we launched our brand-new 100% Linen collection of natural relaxed fit clothes. Linen is a sustainable textile carefully made from the fibers of the flax plant. Featuring antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties, Linen does not cause skin irritation, redness, or itching. It safely can be worn by children, pregnant women, or elderly people.
One more relevant quality of Linen is strength. It retains outstanding function after long use, but does not lose any of its natural properties.
Linen removes the sweat and allows air to flow between the fibers, protecting you from overheating and keeping you cool even in the hot weather.
Breathable Linen itself is naturally hypoallergenic and allergy-friendly fiber that treats even the most sensitive skin softly and with great care.
Due to its anti-static properties, Linen fabric does not accumulate static electricity, meaning it is more resistant to stain and dust.
We think through every step of our design process in great detail. From the natural and sustainable materials we use to how we develop and create our styles. From our hands to your doorstep, each piece of the item has gone through a number of quality control tests for strength and softness.
Make sure to check the care label on the individual item.

However, if you still want an item pressed, use a medium-hot iron on the steam setting.

The distinction between 160gsm and 250gsm Merino wool lies in their respective weights, measured in grams per square meter (gsm). A higher gsm indicates a denser and heavier fabric, while a lower gsm means the fabric is lighter.
The lighter 160gsm Merino wool is well-suited for warmer weather conditions, like summer, due to its lower weight and increased breathability, making it comfortable for various activities during hot days. On the other hand, the midweight 250gsm Merino wool offers excellent insulation and thickness, making it ideal for colder weather, providing extra warmth and comfort during chilly climates.
Hence, when choosing between these two options, consider the specific weather conditions and activities to ensure the most suitable and comfortable choice for your needs.
